Ep 3. Return of the Lamb

At the beginning of Pure season 2 episode 3, titled "Return of the Lamb," we find Noah Funk (Ryan Robbins) and his wife Anna (Alex Paxton-Beesley) struggling to keep their community afloat after their major competitor in the drug trade, Hector Estrada, has left town. They seek guidance from their former drug lord boss, Eli Voss (Peter Outerbridge), but Noah’s moral compass is tested when Voss brings up the idea of expanding their market by selling sub-par drugs to the local Indigenous community.

Meanwhile, Isaac Funk (Dylan Everett), Noah's son, is busy trying to clear his name after being accused of a crime he didn't commit, so he seeks help from local police officer Aisa Mukherjee (Alyssa Veniece). As the two work to uncover the truth, Isaac grows more and more frustrated with the corruption that seems to be pervasive in their small town.

Elsewhere, Tina (Jessica Clement), a young woman who has been involved with Voss and his gang for some time, is feeling the effects of her addiction to the synthetic drug they sell. She reaches out to Anna for help, and Anna sees this as an opportunity to get information about Voss's operation that could help take him down once and for all.

As the episode progresses, tensions rise between various members of the community as they struggle to deal with the aftermath of Estrada's departure. Noah is forced to make some difficult decisions, and his relationship with Anna is tested as they both try to do what they believe is best for their family and the community they have sworn to protect.
