We see Vicki pushing Samantha to the limit, drilling her on everything from her walk to her interview skills. Vicki doesn't hold back and is highly critical of Samantha's every move. As the days go by, we see Samantha slowly start to improve. She gains confidence and begins to appear more comfortable in her own skin. Vicki receives word that Samantha's main competition, another young girl named Brittany, has dropped out of the competition. This puts Samantha in the lead, but there's still one more hurdle to overcome.

The episode ends with Samantha's preparation for the talent portion of the pageant. We see her nervously rehearsing her dance routine, wondering if she will be able to pull it off on the big day. Vicki offers her encouragement and tells her that she has what it takes to be a winner. The episode ends with Samantha taking to the stage, ready to show the world what she's made of.
