Ep 46. Episode 46

Jamie Donnelly, the chief suspect in Adrijan's hit and run case is brought in for questioning. Grilled by Nicki and Sean, as they push him to breaking point, Jamie finally confesses it was him behind the wheel of the car that mowed down Adrijan. An old friend of McKay's drops by the station, but unfortunately it's business and not pleasure that brings him to Red Rock. It turns out that Jamie Donnelly is working for him and assisting the Garda­ in bringing down some hardened criminals. McKay must let him go, but pretend to everyone else that he has been charged and follow procedures as normal. Ever keen to play by the rules, McKay is less than enthused about releasing the criminal who nearly killed one his officers, but reluctantly releases Jamie. With Adrijan heading back to work soon, Nicki tries to talk sense into Sean who hasn't been to see him since he was in hospital. As the Garda­ celebrate Adrijan being back in the fold with pints down at the pub, Sean has a heart-to-heart with his friend, apologises and mends things. Angela arrives home drunk and refuses to go and see Conor in rehab. As Tommy tries to fix things, defending Conor and claiming he isn't a junkie, Angela knows better. Things are taking their toll on the normally level-headed Garda and it's only a matter of time before she cracks under the pressure. Paudge meets Beady Burke in a darkened warehouse later that night, but has he made a friend or a foe in the renowned dodgy Beady?
