When Angela finds Conor acting suspicious in the kitchen, she automatically assumes the worst. However Conor shows that he is serious about getting his life back on track and making a fresh start by making the decision to go to college and showing his gratitude by getting a job in order to pay his parents back. Conor has a heart-to-heart with Angela and reassures her that she does not need to worry. Bridget and Keith are finding it as easy as stealing candy from a baby in their effort to help come up with money to help Katie, however, this time it is not candy they are stealing from a baby. Vincent is furious at what they have done, and sets out to undo it. His decency is rewarded and it looks like he won't be driving get-away vans just yet. Sharon is determined to protect Ava from her abusive partner, and will stop at nothing to keep him away. However, Ava who is blind sighted by love, is not making things easy for her, and point blank refuses to give a statement. As the investigation draws to a close, Sharon makes a swift discovery and it looks as though the accused may have more than assault charges to worry about.
