A seemingly recovered and well-rested Adrijan is back on the scene after being almost killed by a passing car while on duty. While everyone welcomes him back to the station, Angela puts him straight back out covering traffic with Sean. While he seems to be back on track, could it be too soon for Adrijan to be at work? Paudge and Sharon are called to the hospital where they are met by a badly beaten Ollie. Paudge, knowing it was Beady who did this to him, warns Ollie of the danger he is in. He questions Ollie, and suggests they work together as a way out for the both of them. But when Paudge receives a worrying text about his mother and rushes home to her, it seems that word has gotten back to Beady about Paudge and Ollie's plans. Bored out of their minds patrolling traffic, Adrijan and Sean jump at the chance to pull over a driver who breaks a red light. They soon realise that it's a worse-for-wear Joan Curry, whose husband recently died in custody at the station. Sean immediately backs off but Adrijan persists with the arrest upon realising she is intoxicated. McKay is infuriated when he sees that Mrs Curry has been brought in. Embarrassed and apologetic, he releases her without charge and a guilt stricken Adrijan offers to drive her home. One thing leads to another and Adrijan joins her for a glass of wine. Is there a new forbidden romance blossoming in Red Rock? Elsewhere Vincent starts a new job, much to the amusement of Bridget and Keith. Katie, on the other hand, wishes her Dad luck, knowing that he's doing it for her and the baby. Over at the Tyrell's, Angela and Tommy are still trying to work out their marital woes, all while keeping an eye on Conor who is trying to settle back into life outside rehab.
