Red Rock Garda Station is shut down and cordoned off when a school boy brings in a grenade he found on the bus. As an emergency evacuation is put in place, the bomb disposal unit is called in to investigate. Meanwhile, Beady continues to taunt Paudge and sends him another worrying text about his mother. When Paudge arrives home to an empty house to see her mobile ringing unattended on the counter, he assumes the worst. Paudge's blood is boiling when he confronts Beady and things get physical, but Beady soon shows him who is in charge. The Garda­ track down the person who left the bomb on the bus but it all seems to be an innocent misunderstanding. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that the Garda­ are out of danger. Vincent is at his tethers end with his job and wants to pack it in, but with the encouragement of his family he decides to stick with it. However, not surprisingly, Bridget's encouragement is for other reasons that have little to do with supporting her husband. Wherever she goes there is bound to be destruction, and this time it happens to be Vincent's work place. Adrijan has a spring in his step after receiving a flirtatious text from Joan Curry. As the teasing continues amongst the Garda­ about who the mysterious woman is, Adrijan's lips are sealed. Aware of how inappropriate the relationship is, Adrijan shows up to her house and suggests they end their fling. However he doesn't take much persuading for it to be back on!
