In the third episode of Saint Seiya - Sanctuary, titled "Cygnus! The Warrior of the Ice Fields," we are introduced to Hyoga, the Bronze Saint of the Cygnus constellation. Hyoga's backstory is quickly revealed: as a young boy, he witnessed his mother's death in a tragic accident on a frozen lake. Consumed by grief, Hyoga decided to become a Saint in order to prove his strength and protect those he loves.

After a brief introduction to Hyoga, we see him in action as he saves a group of children who are trapped on a frozen mountain. However, Hyoga's heroics don't go unnoticed - he is soon confronted by the Silver Saint of the Aquarius constellation, Camus. Camus believes that Hyoga is too weak to be a Saint and challenges him to a battle.

Hyoga initially struggles against Camus, but he soon reveals his true power - the ability to control ice and cold. Hyoga's powers are on full display as he creates ice storms and freezes his opponent in place. Ultimately, Hyoga emerges victorious and gains the respect of his fellow Saints.

Throughout the episode, we also see some of the other Bronze Saints in action. Seiya and Shiryu are on a quest to find the remaining Bronze Saints and recruit them to their cause. Meanwhile, Saori, the reincarnation of the goddess Athena, begins to piece together the mystery of her true identity and the connection between the Saints and the gods.

Overall, "Cygnus! The Warrior of the Ice Fields" is an action-packed episode that introduces viewers to one of the most beloved characters in the Saint Seiya universe. Hyoga's tragic backstory and impressive powers make him an instant fan favorite, and his battle with Camus is sure to leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
