As Shun tries to revive Cygnus, by burning up his energy to keep him warm, he has a flashback of his days on Andromeda Island when he fought to become a saint. Seiya and Shiryu have made it to the house of Scorpio, guarded by the gold saint Milo, but once they enter, they sense that Shun's energy is draining unusually fast. They realise that true to his Andromeda star, Shun is going to sacrifice his own life in order to save Cygnus's life. As they attempt to go back and stop Shun, Milo steps out of the darkness and prevents them from leaving the house of Scorpio. After a hearty exchange of blows between the saints, Milo decides to use his powerful "Scarlet Needle" sting attack and flattens Seiya and Shiryu, but just as Milo moves in for the fatal blow, Cygnus strolls in ready for action.
