Sensitive Skin is a Canadian comedy-drama television series that first aired on HBO Canada from 2014 till 2016. The show stars Don McKellar, who also co-created the series with Bob Martin, and Kim Cattrall. The show follows Davina (Kim Cattrall) and her husband Al (Don McKellar), a couple in their 50s, who are experiencing a mid-life crisis. The couple has been living in a luxurious house in Toronto for the past few decades, but now they both feel trapped and bored with their current situation. They start to question their life choices and decide to make some major changes.

The series depicts their journey as they try to navigate through their new lives, which are full of uncertainties and excitements. They are both trying to find their place in the world, as they try to rediscover themselves.

Davina is a former model and has been a housewife for nearly three decades. Now that her children have grown up and left the house, she feels like she has lost her purpose in life. She decides to go back to work and start her own business, which turns out to be a lot harder than she had thought. Throughout the series, Davina tries to balance her work life and her personal life, and she learns a lot about herself in the process.

Al, on the other hand, is a successful artist who has lost his passion for his work. He decides to take a break from his career and focus on his relationship with Davina. The couple decides to sell their house and move to a smaller apartment in a trendy part of town. This decision brings a lot of new challenges, as they must face the harsh reality of living in a smaller space and adapting to the hipster lifestyle.

The show's supporting cast includes Nicolas Wright, who plays Davina's friend and business partner, and Joanna Gleason, who plays Al's sister. The series also features guest appearances from notable Canadian actors such as Mary Walsh, Colm Feore, and Stephen McHattie.

Sensitive Skin is a refreshing take on mid-life crisis with poignant, relatable, and often hilarious moments. The show's writing and direction are excellent, and the acting is top-notch. Fans of Don McKellar, Kim Cattrall, and Canadian television in general should not miss this gem.

Overall, Sensitive Skin is a fantastic series that explores the complexities of aging and reinventing oneself. It's a show that is funny, sad, inspiring, and thought-provoking all at once. It's a must-watch for anyone who is looking for a well-written and well-directed television series.
