Ep 16. Hip$ For Dolores

After weeks of struggling financially, Douglas suggests to Poppy that they should take out a loan to ease their financial troubles. Poppy is hesitant, but eventually agrees and the two decide to apply for a loan at a local bank. Meanwhile, Miggy struggles to get his son Jack interested in anything other than video games and enlists the help of the other single parents to try and find activities that Jack might enjoy.

As the gang tries to brainstorm ideas, they come up with the idea of a lemonade stand and decide to set one up with the help of Jack and other kids in the community. While trying to recruit customers, the group comes across an elderly woman named Dolores who initially seems uninterested in their lemonade, but later reveals that she used to be a successful businesswoman and offers to give them some tips on how to make their lemonade stand a success.

As the group begins to take Dolores' advice, they soon realize that she has some outdated ideas about how to run a business. Despite this, they decide to give her suggestions a try and soon find themselves in over their heads as they try to keep up with the demand for their lemonade.

Meanwhile, Poppy and Douglas' loan application is denied and they begin to worry about how they will pay their bills. However, after a conversation with their landlord, they realize that there may be an opportunity for them to make some extra cash by renting out their house on Airbnb. The two quickly get to work preparing their home for guests, but things don't go quite as planned when their first renter turns out to be a nightmare.

As the episode progresses, the single parents face a series of challenges as they try to make their lemonade stand a success and deal with their personal financial struggles. Through it all, they come to realize that the important thing isn't necessarily achieving success, but rather the friends and community that help them through difficult times.
