Ep 1. Episode 1

In "Solar Opposites" season 1, episode 1, we are introduced to a group of aliens who flee their home planet after a catastrophic event and crash land on Earth. The aliens – Terry, Korvo, Yumyulack, and Jesse – make their new home in a suburban community in America, hoping to maintain a low profile while they work on fixing their ship to continue their journey.

The episode starts with a flashback to the aliens' home planet, where a device called the Matter Transfer Array is activated and cause an explosion, forcing Terry, Korvo, Yumyulack, and Jesse to flee in a spaceship that crashes in a swimming pool on Earth. From here, the aliens trying to fit in among the humans, and start learning more about Earth by watching TV.

While Jesse enters a new school, Terry and Korvo start to work on repairing the spaceship and replenishing their energy source, a Pupa which is in a dormant stage that will turn into a supercomputer when activated. Meanwhile, Yumyulack, the youngest among them, has a plan to shrink the humans and put them in a terrarium, to conduct experiments on them and learn how they work, hoping to modify them to be more like their home planet humans.

In the first episode of the show, we are treated to a diverse set of jokes and pop culture references, poking fun at the suburban lifestyle and human nature, with the aliens trying to understand the customs and behaviors of their new home planet in their own way.

The animation style is similar to that of "Rick and Morty," with the same irreverent tone and snappy dialogue, and it's clear that the show's creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan had a lot of fun with the series.

Overall, "Solar Opposites" season 1, episode 1, is a wild and hilarious ride, packed with plenty of sci-fi references and humor, and setting the stage for what promises to be an entertaining season. Fans of "Rick and Morty" will surely get a kick out of the show, but it's also accessible to a wider audience, with its unique blend of humor and heart.
