They go on a major pranking spree, hitting just about everyone in town and getting away with it. It's finally Mr. Krabs that figures them out - and he puts a floodlight on them for the whole town to see.

Pat feels like he hasn't accomplished anything with his life and he decides to take SpongeBob on as his role model. At first, SpongeBob is flattered, but soon Pat takes the idea too far and begins to take over SpongeBob's life and identity. SpongeBob tries to snap Pat out of his obsession and snap him back into being himself.

When Patrick realizes that he is the only one out of all his friends without a nose, he decides he needs to get a nose, too. At first Patrick is thrilled with all the delightful new smells he can pick up with his super-sensitive nose - until he discovers that there are a lot of bad smells out there, too.
