Ep 9. Survival of the Idiots/Dumped

In the episode "Survival of the Idiots," SpongeBob and Patrick head out for a fun day of "Sandy-watching" while their friend Sandy hibernates for the winter. But things take a turn for the worse when they accidentally wake her up and get trapped in her treedome. To make matters worse, Sandy mistakes the two for a couple of "hibernation buddies" and gives them a thorough winter survival training that includes everything from wrestling walruses to chipping their teeth on ice blocks. Along the way, SpongeBob and Patrick's friendship is tested as they struggle to stay alive in the freezing cold.

In "Dumped," SpongeBob finds an abandoned sea urchin and decides to take it in as a pet. He dotes on the urchin, named "Twinkle," and even starts neglecting Gary the Snail in favor of his new friend. But things quickly fall apart when Twinkle develops a taste for SpongeBob's Bikini Bottom decorations and blows up his pineapple house. Feeling betrayed, SpongeBob tries to find a way to get rid of Twinkle, eventually realizing that it's not always easy to give up a pet when things don't go as planned.
