Ep 2. I'm a Wild Banshee

In Survivor season 35 episode 2, titled "I'm a Wild Banshee," the castaways continue to adjust to their new surroundings on the island. With alliances forming and tensions rising, the competition heats up as the participants prepare for the first challenge of the episode.

Before the challenge begins, the castaways are surprised with a twist. Host Jeff Probst announces that they will be splitting into three tribes instead of two, throwing a wrench into some players' plans. The tribes are named Levu, Soko, and Yawa, each consisting of five members. As they prepare for the challenge ahead, the castaways strategize with their new tribemates.

The challenge is a physical one, requiring contestants to swim, climb and maneuver through an obstacle course while collecting floating rings. After collecting all of the rings, each member of the tribe must toss them into a basket. The first two tribes to finish will be safe from elimination.

As the challenge begins, the tension is palpable. Each tribe is determined to come out on top, but Levu falls behind early due to a struggling swimmer. Soko and Yawa pull ahead, with Yawa ultimately winning immunity along with the coveted reward of fishing gear.

Back at camp, Levu must face the harsh reality of heading to tribal council. As alliances continue to form, some castaways begin to consider flipping on their tribemates to secure their own safety. However, one player in particular - a self-proclaimed "wild banshee" - becomes a target due to her abrasive personality and inability to connect with her tribemates.

Tensions rise as tribe members confront each other about their voting plans. The wild banshee tries to plead her case to her fellow castaways, but it may be too little too late. As night falls and tribal council begins, the fate of the Levu tribe hangs in the balance.

As always, Jeff Probst leads the discussion, prodding the contestants for information about their alliances and motives. When the votes are tallied, it becomes clear that the wild banshee was not able to convince her tribemates to keep her in the game. In a dramatic finish, she is voted off the island and must leave the competition.

With the second episode of Survivor season 35 in the books, the competition heats up as the remaining castaways continue to vie for the title of sole survivor. With more twists and turns likely on the horizon, viewers are left wondering what's in store for the next episode of this beloved reality show.
