Wahi the squirrel believes he has the best ears in the forest. He does have great hearing, although he often does not interpret the sounds properly and so no one really trusts him. Suddenly, he hears Pahin, who has fallen into a hole, and is calling for help. Tork the puma also hears the porcupine. Fortunately Cinksi, whose hearing is as good as Wahi's, also hears Pahin.
