Ep 12. New Blood

The action-packed animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) follows the adventures of four turtle brothers - Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo - as they navigate the streets of New York City, fighting crime and battling their arch-nemesis, the evil Shredder. In season 3 episode 12 "New Blood", the turtles find themselves facing a new villain, Hun, who has recently taken over the Purple Dragons gang following the arrest of their former leader, Dragonface.

As the episode begins, the turtles are on the lookout for any signs of trouble in the city. They quickly detect some suspicious activity going on in an abandoned building and decide to investigate. Upon arrival, they find a group of Purple Dragon members, led by Hun, who are stealing large quantities of high-tech equipment. The turtles engage in battle with the gang members, but soon realize that they are up against a more formidable opponent than they anticipated.

Meanwhile, back at their headquarters in the sewer, the turtles are introduced to a new ally, a young mutant alligator named Leatherhead. He explains to them that he has recently escaped from a nefarious science laboratory where he was being experimented on, and is now seeking refuge with the turtles.

As the episode progresses, the turtles learn that Hun has been working with the scientists at the same laboratory in order to develop new weapons and armor for the Purple Dragons. This puts the turtles in a precarious position, as they must not only stop the gang from acquiring the dangerous technology, but also rescue Leatherhead's mutated brethren who are still trapped in the lab.

The turtles embark on a perilous mission to infiltrate the laboratory and rescue the other mutant creatures. Along the way, they encounter deadly traps and face off against a group of highly-trained soldiers employed by Hun. With the help of their new ally Leatherhead, as well as some clever maneuvering, the turtles are able to successfully rescue the captive mutants and destroy the dangerous technology.

In the end, the turtles confront Hun and manage to defeat him in an epic battle. With the Purple Dragons now leaderless, the turtles hope that they can continue to thwart their criminal activity and keep the city safe.

"New Blood" is an exciting and action-packed episode that introduces a new villain for the turtles to face, as well as a new ally in Leatherhead. It also highlights the turtles' bravery and resourcefulness as they navigate dangerous situations in order to protect the citizens of New York City. Fans of the show will surely enjoy this exciting installment in the continuing saga of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
