In this comedy series, a panel of improvisational comedians work together to perform skits, scenes, dialogues and songs on the spot, without scripts or prior planning. The show is staged as a competition, but the winner is determined arbitrarily by the host. The series was hosted by Drew Carey on ABC and ABC Family from 1998 to 2007 and by Aisha Tyler on The CW from 2013 onward.
