Ep 2. The People's Choice

The People's Choice, the second episode of the fourth season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003), revolves around the Turtles being accidentally chosen as the next stars on a reality show. However, things take an unusual turn when the show's producer turns out to be Hun, who is working for the Shredder, who has come up with a dangerous plan to get rid of the Turtles. They soon find themselves on a soundstage, where they meet the show's host, Ryan. The Turtles are given tasks to perform, which they do with gusto. Their performance is well-received, and they become overnight stars. They're even given a makeover, with new bandanas and clothes, to increase their visual appeal.

However, trouble is on the horizon. As it turns out, the show's producer is none other than Hun, who is working for the Shredder. With the Turtles in the spotlight, the Shredder sees an opportunity to finish them off once and for all. Hun comes up with a plan to sabotage the show, putting the Turtles in grave danger.

Meanwhile, the Turtles continue to be oblivious to the danger facing them. As they continue to perform on the show, they notice that some of the tasks they're being asked to perform are increasingly dangerous. They soon realize that something is amiss, and begin to investigate.

The investigation leads the Turtles to Hun, who reveals that he's working for the Shredder. The boys are shocked and outraged, but they know they have to act fast to stop the Shredder's plan. They return to the show and complete their tasks, knowing that the whole time, they are at risk of being harmed.

In a dramatic finale, the Shredder's plan is revealed, and the Turtles are forced to fight off the Foot Soldiers once again. The battle takes place on the soundstage, with the Turtles using their newfound fame to their advantage, and ultimately saving the day.

The episode ends with the Turtles back in their lair, watching the show on television. They realize that the fame they experienced is fleeting, and that they are still needed to fight the Shredder. They vow to continue to do so, even if it means remaining in the shadows.
