The turtles fight back, trying to subdue him. Leonardo manages to talk some sense into him, reminding him of their shared past and the bond they once had. Leatherhead finally regains his sanity and joins forces with the turtles to take down Bishop and the Foot Clan.

The episode ends with the turtles victorious and Leatherhead returning to his old self. They all reflect on the power of memories and how they can bring people back from the brink of insanity.
