The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius, Orange Collection Season 2 Episode 5 Nightmare in Retroville

In season 2 episode 5 of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius, titled "Nightmare in Retroville," the gang is struggling with some serious nightmares. After a particularly terrifying dream about a giant donut, Jimmy decides to use his latest invention, the Dream Injector, to enter his dreams and confront his fears. But things quickly go wrong when Cindy, Sheen, and Carl accidentally get injected into Jimmy's dream as well.

In the dream world, everything looks like Retroville, except everything is alive and attacking the group. The donut from Jimmy's dream comes to life and starts chasing them around, along with a giant sentient bowl of cereal and a horde of angry robots. Jimmy realizes that the Dream Injector has malfunctioned and is amplifying their nightmares instead of helping them overcome them.

As the group tries to escape the nightmare world, they realize that their only hope is to find the one thing that can defeat their fears: their dream selves. Jimmy explains that everyone has a dream self in their subconscious, a version of themselves that is brave and fearless. If they can find their dream selves, they can use their courage to defeat the nightmares.

The gang splits up to search for their dream selves. Cindy discovers that her dream self is a superhero named Liberty Lad, complete with a cape and super strength. Sheen finds that his dream self is a hyper-intelligent robot with a laser gun. And Carl discovers that his dream self is a fearless adventurer who rides into battle on a giant hamster.

Meanwhile, Jimmy is having a hard time finding his dream self. He encounters a bunch of obstacles, including a river filled with giant snakes and a mob of angry chickens. He starts to lose hope until he comes across a version of himself that is confident, calm, and fearless. But instead of helping Jimmy, this dream self starts to attack him, revealing that Jimmy's true fear is losing control.

As the group reunites, they realize that they need to work together to defeat their nightmares. Using their dream selves' skills, they take down the giant donut, bowl of cereal, and robots, and make their way back to reality. Jimmy is briefly trapped in the dream world, but with the help of his dream self, he is able to overcome his fear and return to his friends.

In the end, the gang realizes that facing their fears head-on is the only way to conquer them. Even though they're still afraid of some things, they know that they have the courage to confront them. And they all agree that they probably shouldn't eat sugary snacks before bedtime ever again.
