  • August 7, 2019

The Bachelor Australia season 7 episode 3 follows our Bachelor, Locky Gilbert, as he continues his search for love among the 23 remaining bachelorettes. In this episode, we see the tension between some of the women escalate, as Locky takes a select few on intimate and adventurous dates.

The episode kicks off with a group date, where the women compete in a mud obstacle course. Physically challenging, the course proves to be a great ice-breaker for the women, as they all appear to be having fun and getting to know each other better. However, tensions arise when it comes down to the final obstacle, as some of the women start pushing each other out of the way to get ahead. Locky takes note of the aggressive behavior and starts to question whether some of the women are there for the right reasons.

After the group date, Locky takes a couple of the women on one-on-one dates. The first is with Izzy, who has been relatively quiet up until this point. Locky surprises her with a helicopter ride over Sydney, which Izzy describes as an "out of body experience." They later have an intimate picnic, where Izzy opens up about her past relationships and tells Locky that she is looking for someone who will be there for her no matter what. Locky seems to be genuinely interested in what she has to say, and the two share a kiss before the date ends.

The second one-on-one date is with Bella, who has already caught Locky's attention with her bubbly personality and beautiful smile. Locky takes her on a romantic date, where they explore the Blue Mountains and go on a scenic hike. Along the way, Locky opens up about his own past relationships and admits that he's looking for someone who is loyal and honest. Bella responds by telling Locky that she is drawn to him because of his adventurous spirit and fun-loving personality. At the end of the date, the two share a passionate kiss, and Locky seems to be smitten with Bella.

Back at the mansion, the women are starting to feel the pressure of the competition, and the tensions between some of them continue to escalate. There are some clear frontrunners at this point, and the women who have not had a lot of time with Locky start to feel left out. There is one particular moment where one of the women, Roxi, confronts another bachelorette, Juliette, and accuses her of being "fake." Juliette denies the accusation, but tensions remain high between the two.

At the cocktail party, Locky has some difficult decisions to make, as he must send a few more women home. He spends time talking to each of the women and seems genuinely interested in getting to know them better. However, there is one particular woman, Areeba, who seems to be rubbing the other women the wrong way with her aggressive behavior. Locky takes note of this and decides to confront her, telling her that he needs someone who can get along with the other women in the house. Areeba seems upset by this and starts to cry, but Locky remains firm in his decision.

As the rose ceremony approaches, the tension in the room is palpable, as the women nervously wait to find out who will be going home. Locky hands out the roses one by one, and there are a few surprises along the way. In the end, he must say goodbye to a few more women, and the group of bachelorettes continues to dwindle.

Overall, Bachelor Australia season 7 episode 3 is an emotional rollercoaster, as the women continue to vie for Locky's attention and the competition heats up. We see a mix of drama, romance, and adventure as Locky takes some lucky women on unforgettable dates. This episode sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting season, as we watch Locky navigate the ups and downs of finding love on reality television.
