Ep 6. Episode 6
In The Bride of Habaek season 1 episode 6, tension rises as Habaek and Moo Ra come face to face with each other after the incident with the assassins. The two gods have their own reasons for wanting to find the missing artifact, and they make it clear that they are not going to let their opposite intentions get in the way. Habaek is determined to discover the truth but Moo Ra is just as adamant about keeping it hidden.
Meanwhile, So Ah receives a mysterious package from someone claiming to be a friend of her father's. As she is keen to find out more about the past, she opens it and discovers a series of letters that shed light on the history of the gods and their role in the human world. So Ah begins to see glimpses of the bigger picture and realizes that Habaek's quest is bigger than her. She decides to help him any way she can but there is no telling how dangerous things might get.
As they travel deep into the forest, Habaek reveals to So Ah that the artifact they are searching for is the powerful god stone which has the ability to grant wishes. The god stone was once entrusted to a powerful deity but was lost many years ago. Habaek believes that the reason for his visit to the human world is to retrieve that stone, which could mean the difference between life and death for both worlds.
Meanwhile, Bi Ryum visits Hoo Ye, the former god who attempted to kill Habaek in the past. Bi Ryum asks Hoo Ye to help them find the god stone and also to keep an eye on Moo Ra. Hoo Ye agrees to help but he has his own agenda that he wants to carry out and it involves So Ah.
The episode takes a dark turn as So Ah is confronted by a group of mysterious individuals who claim to know the truth about her father's death. They reveal to her that his death was no accident but rather a planned assassination by someone with immense power. So Ah is horrified by the news and begins to question everything she has ever known.
In the end, Habaek and So Ah manage to find the god stone that was lost for so many years. However, as they hold it in their hands, they realize that it is not going to be easy to use it. Habaek must convince the gods to allow him to use the power of the stone while So Ah must confront the truth about her father's death and the conspiracy that surrounded it.
The episode ends with Habaek and So Ah on the verge of making a decision that will ultimately affect the fate of both worlds. They know that they are going to have to make some tough choices and the road ahead is not going to be easy. However, they both realize that they must keep pushing forward if they want to uncover the truth and protect those they love.
