Meanwhile, the Prince Ezran, Callum, and Rayla are on their way to return the dragon prince. As they traverse through the forest, they are met with hostility from dark elf assassins who are working on orders to prevent them from completing their mission. After an intense chase sequence, our trio manages to evade the assassins, and they continue their journey.
We are also introduced to a new character, General Amaya, who is responsible for protecting the human kingdom's vulnerable borders. She is a skilled fighter and uses sign language to communicate with her soldiers as she is deaf. Her character adds a unique element to the show and showcases the inclusive nature of the narrative.
The dynamic between Amaya and her interpreter, Commander Gren, is also amusing and well-written, adding a touch of humor to the show. We learn that General Amaya is Prince Ezran's aunt, and she is tasked with protecting the kingdom while the young prince is away.
