Little Bear is a television show suitable for small children of the toddler age. The show captures a young child's attention with animation, and also teaches them some life skills needed to start school. Little bear lives with his mother bear and father bear out in the wilderness. He has an array of friends that also live in the forest. Duck, fox, hen, and cat just to name a few. He also has a friend named Emily. Emily is a human girl who makes frequent visits to see little bear and visit with him. Emily is his best friend, even though he does not always see her. He enjoys the time that they spend together and likes to make things for her in his spare time. Little bear has a great imagination and likes to have adventures. He enjoys spending time with his father doing manly things like fishing and building things. He also enjoys helping his mother out in the kitchen cooking special pies and dinners for father bear. Little bear and his friends are often times out playing and learning to love each other in a positive way. They learn to share and care for each other, while also getting their feelings across to one another in a way that does not hurt feelings. Little bear likes to learn new things and take on different tasks. Sometimes he meets creatures that he didn't see before. But instead of being discouraged, he braces the situation and seeks knowledge. He has good manners and always seeks advice from his parents. Whenever little bear is feeling down, he can always count on his friends to lift his spirits and help him have fun. They are a close knit community that truly cares for one another. Little Bear is a show that teaches toddlers that it is OK to have friends that look different and live a different lifestyle, from their own. The show teaches many skills needed to enter preschool. Little Bear is a show that also teaches the values of family living. It also teaches kids to appreciate the animals and the world of outdoors. Learning can be fun, with Little Bear leading the way.
