Ep 2. Pace Off

In the second episode of The Dude Perfect Show's first season, titled "Pace Off," the five friends and YouTube stars take on a variety of challenges and stunts, all centered around the theme of speed and competition.

The episode opens with a high-speed game of tag, as the guys race around on go-karts trying to tag each other with giant, foam swords. It's a chaotic and entertaining start to the episode, as the friends use all sorts of creative tactics - from hiding under the go-karts to jumping off ramps - to try and avoid being "it."

From there, the pace only picks up, as the guys move on to a series of timed challenges. Some of the highlights include:

- A race to see who can complete an obstacle course the fastest. The course includes everything from balance beams to zip lines, and the guys give it their all to see who can come out on top.

- A "hoverboard relay," where each member of the team has to ride a hoverboard around a track while carrying a baton. The catch? The team can only move as fast as the slowest member, so everyone has to work together to shave off precious seconds.

- A game where the guys take turns throwing basketballs at targets hanging from the ceiling. Each target is worth a different number of points, and whoever racks up the most points in the time limit wins.

Throughout all of these challenges, the guys remain good-natured and competitive, giving each other high-fives and encouragement even as they try to beat out their friends.

Perhaps the most impressive moment of the episode comes towards the end, when the guys attempt to set a new world record for the longest "dizzy bat spin." In case you're not familiar, dizzy bat is a game where you spin around a baseball bat with your head on the end, and then try to run a certain distance without falling over. The current world record is just over 50 spins.

The Dude Perfect guys, however, are aiming for 60 spins each. Watching them try to accomplish this feat is equal parts hilarious and impressive, as they stumble around like drunken sailors trying to stay upright. In the end, one member comes very close to hitting the 60-spin mark, but falls just short.

All in all, "Pace Off" is another entertaining episode of The Dude Perfect Show, proving once again that these guys are not only skilled athletes, but also have a great sense of humor and camaraderie.
