Ep 1. Did the Earth Move For You?

In the season 2 premiere of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, titled "Did the Earth Move For You?", the Banks family returns from their summer vacation to find that their home has undergone some major changes. Geoffrey the butler has redecorated the living room, much to the dismay of Aunt Vivian, who had a different vision for the space. Meanwhile, Will is excited to see his girlfriend, Lisa, who has been away all summer.

As Will prepares for Lisa's arrival, he receives advice from Carlton on how to be romantic and sweep her off her feet. However, things don't go as planned when Lisa arrives with her parents, who happen to be old friends of Uncle Phil. Will is nervous to meet them and make a good impression, so he tries to impress them with his charm and wit.

Despite Will's efforts, the evening takes an unexpected turn when an earthquake hits Bel-Air. The family and their guests take cover under a table, and everyone emerges unscathed except for Will, who ends up with a huge bump on his head. Lisa's parents are impressed by Will's bravery during the earthquake, but Aunt Vivian can't help but point out that he also happened to be hiding under the table with Lisa.

As the episode wraps up, Will and Lisa share a sweet moment together as Lisa helps to ice his bump. The Banks family reflects on the earthquake and the changes that have occurred in their lives over the summer. Will also comes to realize that sometimes it's best to be himself rather than trying to impress others.

"Did the Earth Move For You?" is a heartwarming episode that sets the tone for the rest of season 2. It's a reminder that even in the midst of chaos and unexpected changes, family and love will always be the bedrock that keeps us grounded.
