In the variety series Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out, rapper Nick Cannon hosts a show that includes comedy routines, games and other zaniness. The show sets two teams of comedians against each other as they vie to see who can be the funniest, making it a hip-hop version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? One of the teams is always led by Cannon himself. The other team is led by a different celebrity guest for each episode. In the most recent season, Cannon has led an "Old School" team consisting of older cast members. The other team has been a "New School" team consisting of younger players. The competition is made up of insult-style jokes directed at the other team. The other team must then respond with jokes of their own. In other competitions, the teams must perform in improvisational scenarios. Each episode also includes a musical performance. The series debuted on MTV in 2005. After four seasons, the series went on a six-year hiatus. It returned in 2013 on the MTV2 network with a revamped format that included celebrities along with regular cast members. The series continued on MTV2 for three seasons before returning to MTV in 2016. In 2019, the series moved to the VH1 network. In the variety series Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out, rapper Nick Cannon hosts a show that includes comedy routines, games and other zaniness.
