When Mike Met Clay is the fifth episode of the first season of the classic TV show The Fugitive. The next day, Kimble goes into town to try to learn more about Clay. He discovers that Clay has a reputation as a creepy weirdo, but that he's never actually been charged with any crimes. Kimble also learns that Clay has a wife who died a few years ago, and that he's been living alone ever since.

That night, Kimble sneaks back into Clay's house and manages to free the young girl. They try to make a run for it, but they're discovered by Clay. In the ensuing chaos, Kimble is forced to fight Clay in order to protect the girl. After a tense struggle, Kimble is able to overpower Clay and knock him out.

Kimble takes the girl to a nearby police station and turns her over to the authorities. He gives them a brief explanation of what happened, but he doesn't tell them his true identity. Instead, he simply disappears into the night - a stranger, passing through.

When Mike Met Clay is an intense, suspenseful episode that showcases David Janssen's talent for playing the determined and resourceful Dr. Kimble. The episode is filled with heart-pounding action and nail-biting suspense, as Kimble risks everything to save a young girl from a madman.
