Tony Danza and Josh Groban are back in episode 4 of The Good Cop, and this time they’re hitting the bowling lanes. In this installment of the Netflix Original series, titled “Will the Good Cop Bowl 300?”, viewers join Danza’s character, Tony Caruso Sr., and his son, Tony Jr. (Groban), as they form a team to try and win a bowling championship.

The episode begins with an introduction to the world of competitive bowling, which Tony Sr. dominates as a retired champion. However, he takes a break from his usual routine of playing alone to team up with his son for the upcoming tournament. The two don’t exactly get along, but their desire to win brings them together. Tony Jr. is hesitant to join the team, concerned that his father’s bad habits – both on and off the lanes – will ruin their chances of success.

As the episode progresses, the father-son duo competes against various teams in the tournament, relying on Tony Sr.’s years of experience to guide them. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles that test their patience and skill, including a team of overconfident teenagers and a seemingly unbeatable group composed of seasoned bowlers. These challenges push them to their limits and force them to work together, despite their differences.

As they approach the final match, the tension between the two Tonys reaches its peak, threatening to ruin their chance at victory. At this point, Tony Jr. steps up to the plate by showing his father that he is more than just a son, but also a competent and skilled bowler. The father and son come together in an emotional moment, and the stage is set for the climactic final showdown.

Without giving too much away, “Will the Good Cop Bowl 300?” is a heartwarming episode that shows the importance of family, teamwork, and perseverance. The inclusion of the sport of bowling adds an interesting twist to the series, and serves as a unique backdrop for exploring the relationship between the two main characters. As with the previous episodes, the writing is tight, the acting is top-notch, and the pacing is just right. Overall, it’s a fun and entertaining addition to the series that is sure to leave audiences wanting more.

If you’re a fan of the cop-drama genre, or you just enjoy watching Tony Danza and Josh Groban play off each other, “Will the Good Cop Bowl 300?” is definitely worth watching. With its humor, heart, and action, this episode is a standout in an already impressive series.
