The Gurus have come to Canada to explore two provinces: Alberta and Yukon. First up is Jasper National Park in Alberta, one of the planet's most scenic locations is over 10,000 square kilometers. You can visit it in any season. The clear river is fed from the snow melt and glaciers and the hanging valley is in an impressive canyon carved by the Maligne River. In the city of Edmonton, the University of Alberta Devonian Botanical Gardens is a great place to test out cold hardy plants. We get a guided tour of many of the unique plants in the gardens and butterfly house. The Yukon has an endless amount of lakes and rivers, all are fed from the Yukon Ice Fields. Two great ways to see it all is from the air or on the rivers. Kluane National Park is a major world heritage listed site with impressive scenery. Continuing their Northern Ireland adventures, the Gurus take a drive up the Antrim coast for a view of the spectacular scenery. The first stop on our journey up the coast is Caret Fergus castle a Norman fort dating back to the 12th century, sitting at the mouth of Loch of Belfast. They take a tour of its walled gardens, much of which was built 300 years ago. Today, the road along the Antrim coast is one of the longest coast roads in Europe and makes a splendid drive. The last stop on the drive is the Giant's Causeway which formed over 65 million years ago and has been the basis for great legends. If you're really interested in the religious history of Northern Ireland, then you shouldn't pass up a chance to spend a day in County Amah. This has been the spiritual capital of Ireland for the past 1,500 years. Saint Patrick arrived in Amah in 432 AD and it's here that you'll see Saint Patrick's cathedral. It's one of four major festivals that are held every year in the capital city. Next up, is a visit to the futuristic city of Songdo where computers are actually built into the homes and business places. The Hangang is a mighty river particularly when it's swollen with summer rain and cruises last for about an hour and it's a great opportunity to take in some of the real landmarks of the city of Seoul. An hour north of Seoul is the Hantaek Botanical Garden, a treasure trove of gorgeous rare and collectible plants. The Demilitarized Zone is a No-Man's Land 4 Kilometers wide and 240 KM long that separates North and South Korea. Just beyond the zone is a cultural artist's village today called Heyri.
