Ep 4. Episode 4

Jonathan Pine, a former British soldier, is now working as the night manager at a posh hotel in Cairo. When he comes across an incriminating piece of evidence against a prominent businessman by the name of Richard Roper, who has links to the arms and drug trade, he decides to pass it on to the authorities. However, when one of Roper's associates catches wind of his plan, Pine is forced to flee Cairo and go into hiding.

Several months later, Pine is living a secluded life in Zurich, Switzerland, when he is approached by Angela Burr, an MI6 agent who has been tracking Roper for years. She reveals that Roper is planning to sell $300 million worth of weapons to a notorious Middle Eastern arms dealer named Freddie Hamid, and that they need Pine to infiltrate Roper's inner circle and gather intel.

Pine agrees to help, and is tasked with getting close to Roper's girlfriend, Jed Marshall, in order to gain access to Roper's private life. Meanwhile, Burr and her team are working on building a case against Roper, but face resistance from higher-ups in the British government who are fearful of disrupting the country's lucrative arms trade with Saudi Arabia.

In episode 4, Pine continues to gain Roper's trust and moves further into his inner circle. He accompanies Roper on a business trip to Madrid, where they meet with a potential buyer for their weapons. Meanwhile, Burr and her team work behind the scenes to track Roper's movements and gather evidence against him.

As Pine spends more time with Roper and his associates, he begins to develop feelings for Jed and is torn between his mission and his growing affection for her. He also becomes increasingly aware of the evil deeds that Roper and his cohorts are involved in, and struggles with the moral implications of his actions.

Back in London, Burr's team receives a crucial piece of evidence that could bring Roper down once and for all. However, they soon discover that the British government has struck a secret deal with Roper, and that their investigation is being sabotaged from the highest levels of power.

With Roper and his team closing in on Pine's true identity, he must navigate the dangerous waters of espionage and betrayal in order to fulfill his mission and bring Roper to justice. As the tension builds towards a climactic finale, the stakes are higher than ever and the fate of countless innocent lives hangs in the balance.
