Conrad is assigned to operate on a pregnant woman who has experienced contractions prematurely due to her poor health. Despite being fully equipped and confident, his surgical team faces some unexpected complications during surgery. This leaves Conrad struggling to make the right decisions and keep the mother and child safe.

Meanwhile, Nic and Devon are assigned an elderly man who is unable to refill his prescriptions. After visiting the man's home, they discover that he is not only living in extreme poverty but also has a rare and undiagnosed medical condition. The two doctors work together to uncover the truth about the man's condition and help him secure the medical care he needs.

Additionally, the hospital staff is excited about the upcoming solar eclipse and plans to celebrate it on the rooftop. However, tensions rise when a former love interest of Conrad's, who also works at the hospital, makes an unexpected appearance.
