Ep 8. Family Affair

The Resident season 1 episode 8, titled "Family Affair," centers around a young patient named Lily, who has been diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. Her condition is critical, and as her health worsens, her family's resistance to Duncan's medical knowledge becomes more profound. Irving tells Dr. Bell he wants to quit his job as a triage nurse and become an ER nurse. When Conrad saves Lily's life, her father realizes that he was wrong, and allowing Lily to die would have been a terrible mistake. In the end, they give their full support to Duncan and his medical team.
