After a dramatic end to the last episode, the fourth episode of season 5 of The Resident is titled Now What? and picks up where the last episode left off. Throughout the episode, the doctors at Chastain Memorial are also confronted with a number of challenging medical cases. From a patient with a potentially life-threatening condition to a young woman with a mysterious illness, the medical staff must work together to diagnose and treat their patients.
As the episode progresses, the doctors at Chastain Memorial must also face some difficult decisions and make some major changes in their personal and professional lives. As they struggle to find their footing in the aftermath of recent events, they must also confront new challenges and work to maintain their commitment to their patients and each other.
Despite the weighty subject matter of this episode, there are also plenty of lighter moments throughout, and fans of the show will appreciate the humor and quick wit that has become a hallmark of The Resident.
