Ep 20. Mistakes Were Made

Amy is in a difficult spot in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" season 2 episode 20, "Mistakes Were Made." She worries that she may have lost Ricky after the argument they had, and he's not answering her calls. Then, when she learns that Ben has been working at the butcher shop with Adrian, she starts to worry about him too. She calls Ben but gets no answer. Ashley tells her that he's been spending a lot of time with Adrian.

When Amy and Ashley go to the butcher shop to find Ben, Adrian approaches Amy and tells her that nothing is going on between her and Ben. But Amy doesn't believe her. She confronts Ben, but he also denies any involvement with Adrian. After talking to Ben, Amy starts to feel like she's losing everyone she cares about.

Meanwhile, Grace is still dealing with the loss of her father and is avoiding everyone. Jack tries to talk to her, but she snaps at him. Later, at the church, she finds out that her father was having an affair with another woman before he died. She is devastated and feels like she can't trust anyone anymore.

Elsewhere, Ricky is trying to pay off the debt he owes to his foster parents. He steals an amplifier from the school and tries to sell it, but the plan backfires. When Mr. Boykewich finds the stolen amplifier, he asks Ricky to come clean. Ricky tells him that he needs the money to pay off the debt. Mr. Boykewich offers to lend him the money, but only if he starts showing up to school more often.

Finally, Adrian confronts Ben and tells him that she's tired of living a secret life. She wants to be with him and doesn't care who knows. Ben is hesitant at first but eventually agrees to be with her. They sneak off to a hotel together.

As the episode comes to a close, Amy is left feeling alone and betrayed by the people she cares about most. She sits at home, wondering what's going to happen next.
