The Three Stooges 75th Anniversary Special is a celebration of the comedic work of the titular comedy troupe. The special was hosted by actor and comedian, Woody Harrelson, and serves as a showcase for the comedic heritage that the Stooges have created. Furthermore, it features: interviews with friends and family of all six actors who performed with the trio over its work of fifty-plus years; replays of several well-known comedy routines; footage of an array of solo performances by the various individual members; footage of the Stooges advertising for various commercial ads; all of which vary between color and black-and-white as time progressed. The special also features several interviews with celebrity fans of the Stooges, such as Tom Arnold, Cheryl Hines, Michael Chiklis, the Farelly Brothers, and Billy Barty; all of whom explain their love for the Three Stooges and what inspired each one's personal sense of comedy. The Three Stooges 75th Anniversary Special is a 127 minute-long television event that aired in 2003. It was directed by Dennis Rosenblatt.
