Prince Charles considers himself a man of the people, and in this hilarious episode of The Windsors season 2, he takes on a new role as a lowly farmer. Titled "Episode 4," this installment of the satirical royal comedy promises plenty of laughs as the disheveled heir to the throne attempts to embrace a simpler life.

The episode kicks off with Prince Charles feeling disillusioned with his royal duties. Tired of the stuffy protocol and constant media attention, he convinces himself that he would be happier working as a farmer. Against the advice of his family and advisors, Charles sets off to find a farm willing to take him on as a volunteer. With his iconic plaid shirt and wellies, he is determined to experience the "real" world outside the gilded walls of palaces.

Meanwhile, back at Buckingham Palace, the Queen and Prince Philip are baffled by Charles' sudden interest in manual labor. They express their concerns to each other, worrying that Charles' latest escapade will only further damage the public's perception of the monarchy. Queen Elizabeth II, portrayed with comical brilliance, attempts to reason with her son, but Charles remains resolute in his determination to become the ultimate farmer.

The show then shifts its focus to the rest of the royal family. Prince William and Kate Middleton find themselves in a tricky situation when their car breaks down while they are visiting a deprived area. Trying to blend in with the locals, they attempt to navigate their way through the rather rough neighborhood with hilarious consequences. Their attempts at street slang and local dialect lead to awkward encounters and plenty of mistaken identities.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry returns from his humanitarian work abroad and gets embroiled in a scandal of his own. Labeled as the "wild child" of the family, Harry finds himself caught up in a series of misadventures involving partying, actresses, and a rather disastrous public appearance. The episode follows Harry's desperate attempts to salvage his public image while still wanting to have a good time.

Back on the farm, Charles struggles with the realities of rural life. He quickly realizes that his idealized vision of farming is far from the actual gritty labor involved. From early mornings feeding animals to getting his hands dirty in the fields, Charles experiences a humorous metamorphosis from a pampered prince to a disheveled farmhand. The farm workers find his attempts endearing but amusing, and Charles gradually earns their respect, despite his awkwardness.

As the episode progresses, Charles becomes more deeply involved in the everyday activities of the farm. He develops an unexpected bond with the animals, especially a charmingly mischievous goat who seems to take a liking to him. The goat's antics provide many slapstick moments in the episode, with Charles being the victim of hilarious pranks.

While Charles immerses himself in his newfound farm life, his family anxiously awaits his return to the palace. Concerned about the impact of his unconventional venture, they mount a secret plan to bring him back to reality. The episode builds to an uproarious climax as the family's efforts to expose Charles to his royal responsibilities take an unexpected turn, leading to chaos, laughter, and unexpected consequences.

"Episode 4" of The Windsors season 2 is a riotous romp through the eccentricities and idiosyncrasies of the British royal family. With its razor-sharp wit and brilliant performances, this episode provides a lighthearted and tongue-in-cheek look at the lives of the Windsors. From Charles' comedic transformation into a farmer to William and Kate's misadventures in a deprived area, and Harry's attempt to reinvent himself, this episode delivers on its promise of laughter, satire, and delightful absurdity.
