As soon as the episode begins, we find ourselves at the end of the previous episode's cliffhanger with Yashiro's mirror image dragging her into the mirror. Meanwhile, Hanako and Kou are trapped in the Hell of Mirrors and are trying to find a way out. As the two continue to move through the maze of mirrors, they come across a large group of mirror images who appear to be trying to keep them trapped.
As the two try to find a way out, they begin to realize that the mirrors are affecting their minds and spirits. Hanako, who often keeps his emotions hidden, begins to show signs of despair and frustration. However, Kou remains optimistic and tries to encourage Hanako to keep pushing forward.
Meanwhile, Yashiro finds herself stuck in a mirrored version of the school and can't seem to find a way out. As she continues to search for an exit, she comes across a number of her classmates' mirrored reflections. When she finally finds a door that leads outside, she's confronted by her own mirror image and must fight to escape.
As the episode progresses, we see more of the twisted and distorted reflections of the main characters. Yashiro's mirror image, for example, is a dark and evil version of herself who delights in causing pain. Hanako's reflection, on the other hand, is an unfeeling and robotic version of himself who doesn't care about anything.
As the episode comes to a close, all three of them find themselves back in the real world, but not without consequences. The experience in the Hell of Mirrors has left them all shaken and changed in some way. Although they've all made it out in one piece, it's clear that their journey isn't over yet.
