Ep 2. Yousei-san

Yousei-san, the second episode of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun season 1, takes viewers further into the supernatural world of the Kamome Academy, where rumors and legends come to life. Tsukasa wishes to have all the eyes in the school on him at the same time, and Yousei-san makes it happen, causing a chain reaction that leaves Tsukasa feeling powerful and important. But as he basks in the attention, he begins to realize the downside of having such a wish fulfilled and soon regrets it.

As the episode progresses, viewers also get a closer look at the character of Hanako-kun, the boy who resides in the school's third-floor bathroom. Hanako seems to be aware of everything that’s going on in the school and appears to have an interest in Tsukasa.

When Tsukasa's wish goes awry, it is Hanako who comes to his rescue, revealing a more compassionate side to his character. The episode ends on a poignant note as Tsukasa learns that fame and power do not always bring happiness, and that sometimes what we think we want is not really what we need.
