Darlin' Dos / Bad Hair Day
In this episode, the Trolls of TrollsTopia have a hair-themed day, starting with Darlin' Dos. Satin and Chenille open up a beauty salon and everyone is eager to get their hair done. Guy Diamond wants a new style, and when he asks for something daring and bold, his friends suggest a mohawk. He's hesitant at first but decides to give it a try. When his new look is revealed, he's unsure if he likes it, but the other Trolls all love it. Guy Diamond begins to feel more confident and proud of his unique hairstyle.
Meanwhile, Creek and his friends have a bit of a hair emergency. When trying to create an elaborate hairstyle, they accidentally get their hair tangled together. They panic and try to pull it apart but end up making it worse. When the Trolls discover their dilemma, they all chip in to help. They use their hair to weave together a rope and use it to pull the tangled hair apart. Creek thanks his friends and they all agree it's time for a simpler hairstyle.
Later, the Trolls decide to have a "bad hair day" where they intentionally style their hair in wild and crazy ways. They have fun creating outrageous looks and admiring each other's creations. However, when Barb visits TrollsTopia, she is horrified by their hair and thinks they're not conforming to the Rock Troll way. The Pop Trolls try to explain that they're just having fun and expressing themselves, but Barb is unimpressed.
In an effort to show Barb that they can still rock, the Trolls come up with a plan to perform a music number with their wild hairstyles. Guy Diamond takes center stage with his mohawk, and as the music starts, the other Trolls bounce around with their crazy hair, creating an incredible visual display. Barb is initially skeptical but as she sees the joy on the Trolls' faces and the enthusiasm of the audience, she starts to come around.
By the end of the episode, the Trolls have learned that it's important to express themselves and have fun with their appearance. They've also shown Barb that there's more than one way to rock, and that it doesn't have to involve conforming to strict standards of appearance and behavior. Everyone agrees that they should have more themed days and embrace their individuality.
