The Party Pooper / My Dinner With Dante is the fifth episode of Trolls: TrollsTopia season 2. This animated show follows the trolls who live in TrollsTopia, a fantastical world filled with music, dancing, and adventure. In this episode, the trolls are getting ready to throw a big party, but one troll is not in the mood to celebrate.
The Party Pooper begins with Poppy, the Queen of the Trolls, receiving a message from a new troll named Pignatius. He says that he doesn't like parties and wants to find a way to stop the party from happening. Poppy is determined to convince Pignatius that parties are fun, and sets out to throw the best party ever.
Meanwhile, Branch is busy trying to make sure everything runs smoothly. He's in charge of the decorations, the food, and the music. But when he realizes that he forgot to order a cake, he starts to panic. Luckily, his friend Dante offers to help him out. They set out to find the perfect cake, but their journey takes them on a wild adventure through TrollsTopia.
As Poppy prepares for the party, she starts to worry that Pignatius might ruin everything. She enlists the help of her friends, including Guy Diamond and Smidge, to distract Pignatius while she and the others set up for the party. They lead Pignatius on a wild goose chase, showing him all the fun things to do in TrollsTopia.
Later, at the party, everything seems to be going well. The music is playing, the food is delicious, and all of the trolls are dancing and having a great time. But when Pignatius arrives, he starts to grumble about the noise and chaos. Poppy tries to convince him to join in the fun, but he refuses.
In My Dinner With Dante, Branch and Dante are on their way back to the party when they stumble upon a beautiful, untouched forest. They decide to explore and come across a giant, talking mushroom. The mushroom's name is Galileo, and he invites Branch and Dante to have dinner with him.
At first, Branch is skeptical, but Dante convinces him to give it a try. They sit down to dinner, which turns out to be a magical experience. The food is delicious, and Galileo stories are fascinating. He tells them about his adventures traveling through TrollsTopia and the different trolls he's met.
Meanwhile, back at the party, Poppy is trying to keep everyone entertained while waiting for Branch and Dante to return. She leads a game of "Pin the Nose on the Troll" and manages to get everyone to join in. But just when things start to really heat up, a group of Bergens show up. Everyone starts to panic, but Poppy manages to diffuse the situation.
In the end, both stories come together as Branch and Dante return to the party just in time to help Poppy and the others save the day. Together, they show Pignatius that even if he doesn't like parties, he can still have fun with his friends. And as the night comes to a close, the trolls gather around to celebrate their friendship, the magic of TrollsTopia, and the fun of a good party.
