Cue the fourth episode of Veep season 1, titled "Chung," where Selina Meyer, the vice president of the United States, tries to make her presence known through a gun control speech as the Senate prepares to rework the Clean Jobs bill.

We see Selina Meyer and her team scrambling around to make sure everything is in order before her big speech. But Selina finds herself struggling to sound committed and passionate. As if the odds weren't already against her, Selina makes an ill-timed Asian joke on the radio, leading her to scramble to make amends with Senator Lu on her upcoming gun-control speech.

As the Clean Jobs bill takes center stage, Selina's team is busy trying to work out the details of the vice president's speech. However, Selina soon realizes that her speech would not be allowed until the Senate has signed off on it. In the meantime, she heads off to North Carolina to visit a local food bank to build her credibility. She ends the visit by deciding to play a game of ping pong, which turns out to be a massive mistake.

Back in Washington, Amy collects a urine sample for Selina's health screening but is unsure of what to do with it, leading to hilarious consequences. Meanwhile, Mike tries to convince Selina to meet with Chung, a documentary filmmaker who Hillary Clinton once turned down. The meeting proves to be more beneficial than expected, with Chung filming backgrounds for Selina's speeches.

In contrast, Jonah is now working in the White House and trying to get to know the president's staff better. However, his efforts soon become futile when he mistakenly connects to the all-staff email list and fires off a racist email to everyone.

As Selina and her staff members each face their respective challenges, tensions rise, and surprises abound. Can they put their differences aside long enough to get the job done?

The episode revolves around two major plotlines: Selina's gun control speech and Chung's involvement in it. Selina is struggling to make an impact on the Clean Jobs bill and has decided to give a speech on gun control. However, the Senate is in the process of rewriting the bill, which means that she is not allowed to make her speech until they have signed off on it. This puts Selina and her team in a very difficult position, as they need to make modifications on her speech and wait for the Senate to allow her to give it.

To make matters worse, Selina finds herself in hot water over an innocent comment she made in an interview on the radio. She made an Asian joke, which offends many people, and now she must do some damage control. She ends up meeting with Senator Lu, the person she offended, and tries to make amends. It's not clear if she's successful in making her peace with Senator Lu.

Meanwhile, Chung, a documentary filmmaker, manages to convince Mike to set up a meeting with Selina. Chung claims that he has filmed footage that can be used for backgrounds in Selina's speeches. Selina is hesitant at first, but she eventually agrees to meet with him. The meeting goes well, and Chung is able to provide Selina with some great footage.

As all this is happening, Amy is dealing with a urine sample that she has collected for Selina's health screening. She accidentally spills it on herself and then loses the sample. What follows is a hilarious sequence of events where Amy tries to re-collect the sample in time for Selina's health screening.

Overall, Chung is a great episode of Veep that deals with themes of communication, politics, and public perception. Selina struggles to make her mark in the Clean Jobs bill discussion, and Chung's involvement helps to add an exciting new dimension to the episode. Fans of the show will love this particular episode.
