Selina is a former vice-president of the United States who becomes president after the sitting president resigns. She's left with the job of winning the next presidential election and figuring out how to balance her personal and professional life.

In episode 7 of season 6 of Veep titled "Blurb", Selina is still in the midst of writing her memoirs and finding it difficult to pin down an appropriate blurb to sell the book.
