Ep 12. Within the Peace

Within the Peace is the twelfth and final episode of ViVid Strike! season 1. The episode picks up where the last episode left off, with Rinne resolving to live her life her way and not just following the footsteps of her sister, Fuuka. She and her friends, Fuuka and Einhard, head to the Forwards training facility to say goodbye to their friends who they met during their time there. As they bid farewell to their friends, Rinne notices that something is wrong with Nove's right arm, but as Nove dismisses her concern, they leave.

Meanwhile, Corona is putting the finishing touches on her plan to capture Einhard, and after confirming that Rinne and Fuuka are no longer with her, she proceeds with her plan. Einhard attempts to fight back, but Corona overpowers her using her own technique against her. Nove, who senses something amiss, rushes to the scene and takes on Corona, but still weakened from her previous battles, she is no match for Corona's strength. Despite being injured, Nove manages to successfully get Einhard to safety before collapsing from exhaustion.

As Rinne and Fuuka make their way back to the facility, they see the aftermath of the battle. They quickly find Nove, who is battling to stay conscious, and Rinne is shocked to see the severe injuries to Nove's arm. They rush her to the hospital, and while there, Rinne reflects on her experience with Nove. She remembers how Nove taught her to not be afraid of her inner demons and how she helped her come to terms with the past. Rinne decides that the only way to repay Nove for everything she has done for her is to fight for her, and she vows to make sure Corona is brought to justice.

Fuuka and Rinne devise a plan to lure Corona out of hiding by using Rinne's apartment as bait. Once Corona arrives, they engage in a fierce battle. Rinne tries to draw out Corona's weaknesses, but Corona's determination proves to be a challenge. In a moment of defeat, Rinne's inner demons manifest, and she must conquer them in order to continue the fight. With the help of Fuuka, Rinne decides to fight for herself, for her friends, and for Nove, and she pushes through until Corona is defeated.

After the battle, Nove awakens to find herself in the hospital. Rinne, Fuuka, and Einhard visit her and assure her that she won't have to fight alone anymore. Rinne apologizes to Nove for not being there when she needed her most, but Nove forgives her and thanks her for fighting for her. As the three girls leave the hospital, Rinne reflects on the journey she has taken and how she has come to embrace her own path. She knows that there will be more battles to face, but she is ready for whatever lies ahead. The episode ends with the trio heading out on their next adventure.
