Ep 2. No Priests

In Wayne season 1 episode 2 titled "No Priests," the wild and unpredictable Wayne sets out on a mission to retrieve his late father's prized possession, his car. But before that, he stops by a funeral and ends up making a run for it with a hearse that he crashes, leaving him with a broken arm. He manages to hitch a ride to the hospital and grab some painkillers, but before he can be released, he becomes embroiled in a violent altercation with a priest who he alleges knows something about his stolen car.

Meanwhile, his unlikely companion and recent acquaintance, Del, is dealing with some troubles of her own. Her abusive father and his cronies are hot on her trail, and she has to find a way to escape them before they catch up with her. She turns to her drug-dealing ex-boyfriend, Chester, who initially looks like he might be able to help her, but things quickly go south. Del is forced to take matters into her own hands and gets a little help from a surprising source.

Back in the hospital, Wayne's antics with the priest land him in hot water, and he's forced to make a run for it once again. He finds himself in a seedy motel, where he meets an eccentric woman who takes a liking to him. Despite his injury and the challenges he's faced, Wayne is determined to get his beloved car back, and he comes up with a plan to retrieve it that involves Del, her ex, and a stolen van.

Through all the hijinks, the unlikely duo of Wayne and Del find themselves forming an unexpected bond. They each have their own set of troubles, but together they seem to be able to face them head-on. Wayne season 1 episode 2 "No Priests" is a wild ride full of action, humor, and heart that sets the stage for more adventures to come.
