Ep 15. Welcome to the Fantasy!

Welcome to the N-H-K is a Japanese anime series that follows the life of Satou Tatsuhiro, a hikikomori (reclusive young man) who lives in his apartment and rarely leaves. Hitomi is a skilled player who introduces Satou to a group of other players who have formed a guild. Satou is honored to be asked to join the guild, and he starts to see the other players as his friends and allies in his fantasy world.

As the night goes on, Satou begins to realize that he can only stay in his fantasy for so long. He starts to feel anxious and claustrophobic, and he decides that he needs to leave the café and go back to his apartment. Misaki confronts him and tells him that he needs to face his fears and start living in the real world, but Satou is not ready to do that yet.

In the end, Satou leaves the café and goes back to his apartment. He is still thinking about his fantasy world, but he knows that he can't stay there forever. He starts to think about Misaki and the other cosplayers he met, and he realizes that maybe he can find a place for himself in the real world after all. Welcome to the Fantasy! is a powerful episode that explores the tension between fantasy and reality, and the struggle to overcome social anxiety and isolation.
