Ep 1. Pilot

Whiskey Cavalier season 1 episode 1, entitled "Pilot," introduces viewers to FBI Agent Will Chase (codename: Whiskey Cavalier), played by Scott Foley. Meanwhile, Chase is in a mindless haze of heartbreak, barely able to function. His supervisor suggests he take on a new mission to get his mind off things and assigns him to work with Trowbridge. The two are sent on a mission to retrieve a device that could potentially allow terrorists to remotely access any weapon connected to a particular network.

Of course, things don't go as planned. The device is stolen before they can get their hands on it, and the two agents are left to figure out who the thief is and how to get the device back. Along the way, they encounter a cast of quirky characters, including the suave and charming Frankie's friend and informant, Ray, and an eccentric tech whiz named Edgar Standish, played by Tyler James Williams.

Despite their different approaches to their work, Francesca and Will manage to work together effectively, with Francesca's no-nonsense attitude and Will's empathetic touch making for an unlikely but formidable duo. The relationship between the two agents grows throughout the episode, culminating in a powerful scene in which they bond over their shared heartbreaks.
