Not long after, one of the detectives is tasked with pursuing a lead in the case, which ultimately leads them to suspect one of their own colleagues. In the midst of all this chaos, Wisting is also dealing with a personal issue - his father is suffering from dementia and has wandered off.

Wisting struggles to balance the demands of his job with his personal life, as he tries to stay composed while exploring the different angles that could help them solve the case. As the investigation continues, it becomes clear to Wisting and his team that the killer has a warped sense of logic and is playing a dangerous game with them.

Despite the mounting pressure and challenges that Wisting faces, he remains determined to catch the killer and bring them to justice.
