The game featured a star-studded lineup, with players from all twelve WNBA teams taking part in the action. The starters for Team Delle Donne were Brittney Griner, Elena Delle Donne, Tiffany Hayes, Maya Moore, and Sue Bird. The starters for Team Parker were Chelsea Gray, Diana Taurasi, Candace Parker, Angel McCoughtry, and Natasha Howard.

The first half of the game was dominated by Team Parker, who raced out to an early lead thanks to the efforts of Candace Parker and Diana Taurasi. Parker was especially impressive, scoring 11 points in the first quarter alone. Team Delle Donne struggled to keep pace, but managed to stay in the game thanks to the efforts of Elena Delle Donne, who scored 14 points in the first half.
