On Wed, May 29, 2019, WWE NXT Season 12 episode 26 aired with an impressive lineup of matches and segments that left fans at the edge of their seats. The episode opened with excitement as the NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler, made her way to the ring alongside her friends, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. Baszler addressed the crowd and declared herself as the most dominant female athlete in all of WWE. She then demanded that any woman who'd be foolish enough to challenge her should step forward, but no one came out.

Keith Lee, on the other hand, had a bone to pick with the North American Champion, the Velveteen Dream, after he accused Lee of interrupting his victory celebration last week. In his quest to clear his name, Keith Lee came out for a match that went head to head with Kona Reeves. The match was fast-paced and full of high-flying maneuvers, and Lee came out victorious. As he made his way out of the ring, the Velveteen Dream appeared on the ramp and made it clear that he'd be ready for a fight anytime, anywhere.

The next match was a tag-team match featuring the veteran superstars, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, against the up-and-coming duo of Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel. The crowd was electrified as both teams displayed their athleticism and intense dogfight, delivering devastating blows after blows. In the end, Aichner and Barthel shocked the audience by picking up the win, cementing their place in the NXT tag-team division.

In the women's division, NXT newcomer Lacey Lane made her debut against the daunting Aliyah, accompanied by Vanessa Borne. Lane's charismatic personality and high-energy moves were a perfect match for Aliyah's vicious style. The match was evenly matched and hard-fought. However, Lacey Lane surprised everyone by pulling off a stunning victory against Aliyah, sending a message to the rest of the women's division that she was a force to be reckoned with.

The fourth match featured the Street Profits, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins, going up against the tag-team of the Forgotten Sons, Steve Cutler, and Wesley Blake. The Forgotten Sons had been on a winning streak, but the Street Profits were determined to end that streak. Both teams came out strong, but the Street Profits eventually emerged as the winners, thanks to their exciting tag-team moves and chemistry.

Undisputed Era's Adam Cole was up next in a singles competition against Sean Maluta. Maluta, hoping to make a name for himself, gave it his all, but Adam Cole proved too much for him. Cole picked up the win with his stunning "last shot" finisher, reminding the NXT Universe that the Undisputed Era weren't a force to be underestimated.

Finally, in the main event, the NXT Champion, Johnny Gargano, faced off against the NXT UK Champion, WALTER. Both superstars are known for their hard-hitting style and technical prowess, and this match was no different. The match was highly competitive, but Gargano ultimately emerged victorious with his 'GargaNo Escape' submission hold. As Gargano celebrated his victory, he was attacked from behind by the NXT North American Champion, Velveteen Dream. The Dream made it clear that he had his eyes set on the NXT Championship, setting up another exciting chapter in the NXT's ongoing saga.

Overall, the NXT Season 12 Episode 26 was an entertaining and exciting show that showcased the depth of talent in the NXT roster. The matches were high energy and full of breathtaking moves, and the promos were passionate and emphatic, setting the stage for what's sure to be an exciting future for the WWE NXT Universe.
